Casual Wedding Hairstyles

Thursday, September 22nd, 2011

The dress code for casual weddings comes in simple gowns and the not-so-elaborate hairstyles. This calls for a time to actually let your hair down and enjoy the time of your life. Weddings call for a lot of preparation and planning. Though the theme is casual, there are sophisticated plans regarding the comfort factor for all guests. Stress on hair shows easily and simple hair care methods are a must for all brides-to-be. Casual weddings are about music, dance and games and hence it is important to allow hairstyles and outfits that are easy.

In the case of a beach wedding, then flowers on the hair would be a fabulous idea. Poker straight hair can be done with a braided hair band entwined with tiny flowers. Many brides prefer to use sprinkles or hair tattoos that brighten up the hairstyle. Hair accessories can be beads, pearl studs or simple star shaped stick-ons. Beach winds make the hair awry and it is best to set it with a reliable hair spray. Leave-in conditioners would seem necessary but again this is dependent on the hair type.

A garden wedding or a mountain wedding can be a simple hairstyle in multiple plaits. Go for satin ribbons on the plaits. Braids look extremely feminine and team well with casual wedding gowns. In case you intend to use a head piece then keep the hair style in the casual updo ones. Messy hair in updo form would be a personal style statement for the casual wedding.

Destination weddings run along the casual theme and there are several do-it-yourself hair style ideas with blow dry effects. A French roll or a simple chignon at the nape of neck can be well secured with a floral hair clip. Side partings look very casual and a natural flip is all that is required while you pose for photographs. For a beach wedding, use a single, stone-studded hairclip or clips that resemble water life like a starfish or a mermaid.

Extensions are a wonderful way to include long hair styles. The latest long hairstyle is about long wavy curls in asymmetrical cuts. One could go for a gentle tapering at the ends on naturally long hair and set the same with styling gels or crunching lotions. A white lace hair band on short bob hair is the easiest style for a casual wedding.

Best Bridal Diet – Fit Into Your Wedding Dress Fast and Easy

Monday, February 28th, 2011

With the Most important Day in Your life coming up quick it’s difficult to find time for complicated diets or joining a Bridal Boot Camp. This is supposed to be the most exciting time of your life and should not be ruined by a grueling exercise scheme or diets driving you to starvation and leaving you fatigued when there is so much at stake.

Guests are arriving from far away, 100′s of pictures will be taken, and you don’t wanna be remembered as a fat bride!

Few diets can actually make you feel great while losing weight, and they all involve complicated meal plans and can require major sacrifices to your everyday life. Don’t worry, there is hope for people who just don’t have enough time – like soon to be brides!

Best Diet for Brides

Acai Berry is a revolutionary diet that gained enormous popularity on TV Shows like Oprah and the Food Network with Rachael Ray. While Acai is often misunderstood from all the hype about its health benefits, it can be a great supplement to your diet for fast weight loss if used the right way. What makes Acai so great for future brides is that it fights fat in 2 ways: boosting your bodies metabolism and suppresses cravings, while detoxifying your body from toxins and excess waste that have built up in the colon.

The best part about Acai is that it works as a natural energy booster which will encourage you to exercise, and it can be made part of your diet as a simple smoothie or shake. Its high content of Vitamins, Minerals, Fibers, Anthocyanins and Antioxidant makes you feel nutritionally satisfied and ready to take on the world. So Acai can help you lose weight and be in harmony with your body and feel great, so you won’t be passing out at the alter from fatigue. Acai is all natural and has no caffeine or other harmful stimulants like other weight loss products and will actually help you fall asleep.

Some Health Benefits of Acai Weight Loss

o Increases metabolism and suppresses appetite
o Lowers Cholesterol and Blood Pressure
o Improves sleep
o Detoxifies the intestines
o Boosts immune system and Energy Levels

Since Acai Berry is so convenient to make part of your diet it helps you stay on a healthy path and not gain weight again. To accelerate weight loss even more I recommend using Acai in combination with a Colon Cleanse for maximum results. To learn more about this amazing diet Click Here to read my weight-loss blog.

The Wedding Dress Workout – Get Easy Workouts That Target Different Features For Different Dresses

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

You’re getting married! Congratulations! By now you have thought about the ceremony, the reception, the caterer and most importantly: your dress. It’s important for you to feel and look your best on your wedding day. Getting into shape means starting weeks before the big day. Once you have chosen your dress, make a date with a personal trainer or since you’ll be strapped for time – an online personal trainer to get you into buff bride shape.

Dress designs fall into several categories each exposing your body in different ways. There are the sleeveless ballgowns that hide lower body flaws but really show off your shoulders and arms. There is the mermaid style that hugs the body and demands a toned butt and hips. Whatever your style, there are workout routines that target the specific areas your dress reveals.

This is not to say that spot toning works. It doesn’t. You can’t just tone that one little trouble spot on your outer hips. Butt, hamstrings and inner thighs go along for the ride and get toned in the process. An added bonus!

You can, however, throw in some extra exercises that target certain areas. Keeping the focus on what body parts your wedding dress reveals will help you and your trainer choose the appropriate exercises.

For a dress that is strapless, the upper body is what is immediately visible. Shoulders, neck, chest and arms are there for all to see. Some examples of appropriate free weight exercises for a more toned upper body might be:

• Shoulder press
• Lateral raises
• Bicep curls
• Tricep kickbacks

You might also try chest press and flys using a stability ball for a weight bench. This will work your core, butt and hamstrings as well as your chest. Finish off with a chest stretch in a doorway and some good hamstring stretches.

If your wedding gown is a mermaid style with a form fitting look then adding in some extra butt and hip exercises will make you feel ready to slip on your dress with confidence.

Try this:

Lie down on your side with your legs straight under you and ankles stacked on top of each other. Slowly lift top leg in parallel just above hip height, hold for moment, slowly lower down without putting the leg all the way down. Repeat 15 – 20 times.

This exercise works the outer hip and gluteal area. Now, if you feel you need more resistance and a greater challenge, add small ankle weights, one or two pounds at the most, and repeat the above exercise.

Now exercise alone is not the answer to permanent changes to your body. What you are eating and more importantly, how much you are eating, is always the other side of the coin. You really cannot have solid weight loss with lasting results without combining diet and exercise. Burn more calories than you take in. It’s that simple. At the end of the week, you must create a deficit of calories in order to get results.

What’s the best way to do this? You got it: diet and exercise and whole lot of hard work! So get moving! Your wedding date is fast approaching and you know you want to look and feel your best in your gorgeous wedding gown.
